Death in a Matchbox
Steve Rogers
An enjoyable crime thriller set in the gold fields of Western Australia. The action takes place over several time periods, involving a cast of characters who work and survive in these tough and remote rural towns. With the local pub as a central meeting point, we witness Aussie humour and unlikely partnerships form as people seek luck and fortune in the dusty soil. And, for some, the willingness to kill in order to get their hands on that illusive 'pot of gold'. A fast-paced, page-turner, with enough plot twists to keep any lover of this genre entertained.
